DIRECTORS:

Autumn is Alisa Ann Ruch’s niece. She has spent years interviewing family members about the tragic day that shaped them, and she was a counselor many times at the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation’s “Champ Camp”. Autumn is a filmmaker and she is passionate about exploring generational grief and healing through the creation of this very personal documentary. She cares deeply about the subject matter, and wants the audience to walk away with a handful of hope.

Lauren is an 8-time Southeast Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker. Her work on the People of Alabama video series received millions of views and helped cultivate a community of kindness. She is now an Assistant Professor of Film & TV Production at the University of Georgia. She tells intimate, emotional stories using fantastical imagery to reach a deeper truth with her subjects. Lauren is passionate about inner circles of family and friends, and the beauty, delicacy, and strength found in our most vulnerable places.

PRODUCERS:

Maggie has produced and AD’d numerous independent music videos, shorts, and commercials. She was a producer for Jared Leto's company, Paradox, and was head researcher for his debut documentary feature A Day in the Life of America, which premiered at Tribeca in 2019. In 2020, she co-founded a women-owned production company with Lauren Musgrove called Purple Magnet Productions (PMP). PMP has produced over a dozen projects so far, including music videos, commercials, and feature films. Maggie is passionate about stories told from the female perspective, and the inspiration that is found in people amongst trauma that discover personal growth and happiness.

Turhan is a 2 time SAG Award nominated actor from the HBO hit show Barry. Aside from being in front of the camera on a litany of major TV and film productions, Turhan also writes and produces his own films in Los Angeles and abroad. He got his training at the Shakespeare Theater in D.C. and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Always pushing to create, Turhan also finds enough time to write and record a prolific amount of music. Turhan is also huge in the crypto space, and builds, collects, and trades art projects on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Boaz Dvir’s films (Class of Her Own, A Wing and a Prayer, Jessie’s Dad, Cojot, to name a few) have been distributed by PBS, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, The New York Times, and other outlets. Lifetime and Investigation Discovery have incorporated footage from his documentaries into their programs. They have screened in prestigious venues around the world, including Columbia University’s Global Center in Paris, the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles and numerous US colleges such as the University of Virginia, Syracuse, Penn and NYU. Boaz is an Associate Professor at Penn State, and he tells the stories of ordinary people who, under extraordinary circumstances, transform into trailblazers who change the world around them.
